Team expands with two unique appointments
Specialist service provider, Occupational Health Assessment Limited, are delighted to announce the appointment of two highly qualified and notable clinicians to their already vastly experienced clinical team.
The two key appointments are:
Medical Director: Prof. Alan Hawley CBE OStJ FRCP FFOM
Professor Hawley joined the Occupational Health Assessment Limited team from the 1st September 2026 as Medical Director. He is responsible for the training, mentoring, audit and governance practices within the business.
Having forged one of the most illustrious careers in British medicine, Professor Hawley has specialised in Occupational Health for over two decades as well as retaining his medical responsibilities. Professor Hawley is a Professor of Medicine, a Professor of Disaster Studies, a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and was previously the Queen’s Honorary Physician, Director General of the Army Medical Services and Chief Medical Officer to the Order of St. John and St. John Ambulance.
He is a published author, Director of Training for the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, a keynote speaker and has a wealth of knowledge, insight and after-dinner tales.
Occupational Physician: Dr Alice Penn MBChB DOccMed DRCOG DipDerm
Dr Alice Penn joined the team in August as an Occupational Physician with a remit to support Human Resources (HR) experts and employees within the professional services field.
Dr Penn is one of the few doctors in the UK to also have extensive commercial experience within the finance and professional services fields. She is a qualified and highly experienced Executive Leadership Coach and has many years in medical practice as a senior member of the team behind City health experts Blossoms Healthcare (now part of HCA Healthcare).
Dr Penn has a specialist interest in occupational health and a track record of supporting the most discerning HR professionals and leaders across finance, law, tech and professional services. She is a consummate professional, keen athlete and exceptional conversationalist.
Unique talents
Occupational Health Assessment Limited’s Managing Director, Magnus Kauders, welcomed the new additions to the already expert team and commented;
